Our story is one of resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication to quality. It began in 1984 with a vision sparked by Jose A. Garrido, Sr., who saw opportunity where others saw challenges. With humble beginnings and a relentless work ethic, he laid the foundation for what would become a thriving family business in international grocery food distribution.

Driven by his pioneering spirit and a commitment to excellence, Garrido, Sr. traversed the international landscape, forging relationships with producers, suppliers, and customers alike. His integrity and reliability became the cornerstones upon which our business was built.

As the years passed, our family business evolved and expanded, embracing new technologies and adapting to changing market dynamics. Through it all, we remained true to our values, cherishing the traditions instilled by Garrido, Sr. while embracing innovation for the future. 

In 2000, Jose A. Garrido, Jr. assumed leadership and led us through a period of expansion and growth, remaining faithful to our suppliers, markets, and customers. Today, Garrido, Jr. serves as our Chairman, having proudly delivered us to the third Garrido generation.
